Character Creation

Each player should build their character initially with these statistics:
Attributes: 7/5/4 (characters automatically have one dot in each attribute)
Abilities: 14/10/6
Backgrounds: 7
Virtues: 7 (characters automatically have one dot in each virtue) *Use the Vampire Virtue set of Conscience/Self-Control/Courage
Willpower: Starting rating equal to Courage
Freebie Points: 50


Freebie Table
Attribute: 4
Ability (up to rating 3): 2
Ability (4+): 3
Extra Specialty* (only one additional per attribute or ability - must be rated 5 or higher): 2
Virtue: 2
Willpower: 1

*Specialties: Specialties in this game do not grant an Extra Die, they decrease the DC of dice pool rolls by 1 if they apply. You always gain one specialty in any Attribute or Ability that is rating 4 or better. Specialties can stack if the appropriate Attribute+Ability dice pool is called for.*
**Characters can take up to 10pts of Merits and Flaws.

The Vampire character sheet seems most appropriate for creating the characters. If there are any abilities throughout the White Wolf books that you wish to take advantage of, or backgrounds, or merits/flaws, please talk with me about it and we will come to terms with what you're looking for. Somewhere, there is most likely a system to represent any affect you're aiming for, and together we can make the character you want to it's fullest.

Something I forgot to mention: the above character creation process is for the mundane abilities for your character. Most, if not all, of your characters are going to have supernatural abilities that each player and I will have to sit down and address. These powers will be in addition to the normal creation process.

And now that we have a full working roster, I'm going to start individual character threads where I and the player can hash out the extraordinary powers of each character. In doing so, how each character's abilities work will be a matter of permanent record here on the forum for us to refer back to.
